Tuesday, July 1
This Tuesday at 6:00 pm scouts are asked to meet at the River Forks Recreation Area. Scouter Kyle Anderson is a certified lifeguard who has agreed to do our swim tests for Camp Old Indian. After the swim tests, scouts can then spend some time playing in the swim area. River Forks Recreation Area is out Dobbins Bridge Road, across 187 at the Villager and down to the left....follow the signs to the swim area. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. Mr. Anderson is very familiar with the BSA swimmer's test and will strictly follow it. He will not pass anyone that he does not feel satisfied with their ability. So, if you still plan on going to camp please be there by 6:00pm ready to swim. I will be at the church at 5:40 if anyone needs a ride....I will be leaving at 5:50 to get to the park. It would be nice to text or call me if you will be meeting me for a ride.
Hope to see you all there!!    Also....Don't forget to get your medical forms completed for summer camp and turned in to me as soon as possible!!

Hope those of you who went Saturday enjoyed the day of Bumper Tubes and Rocky Rest Stops!!
I worked much too hard at my "relaxing" trip down the river, not to mention realizing I am NOT immune to motion sickness!!
If there is a next time, we will definitely look for a less congested experience and deeper water!!
Still, it was a good, safe experience for most-hopefully, you younger and more agile folks did better than me!!
Tuesday, June 24
Regular Meeting led by our new trained leaders, Cody and Shaun!!
I hope you 2 guys have something fun and productive ready to share....
Don't forget to get your medical forms completed for summer camp!!
Scouts who are not First Class and above....don't forget to bring your books!
If time permits, we need to work on showing improvement on personal fitness tests and we can also work on lower rank requirements needed!
