Work on Skills for new scouts. Don't forget to let me know when you and parent goes over the pamphlet in the front of your book!!
Older scouts Meet with Charlean to review what's needed for next rank (Pack 280 is having awards and crossover, so I may be a little late)
Older scouts plan a competition game between patrols for last 15 minutes.
We could also go over compass skills and do pacing wheels for all scouts to help out those doing the Town HIke on Saturday. I will try to remember to bring some blanks along with a tape measure.
Medicals
Don't forget to complete the NEW forms for health history(A and B) and from Physician (C)
Camp Cards....how is it going?....don't forget to get permission before selling at a business!
If you have sold 35 or more camp cards don't forget to bring money in and get signed up for the weekly drawing (a scout from Troop 105 won it last week).
Camporee rescheduling....
Try to keep first weekend in May open as they are hoping to reschedule the camporee that weekend...more later.
Kayak Trip Update(May16=18) - found a camping spot!
I have contacted a private campground called Tuck in the Woods and they have 4 sites that can have 2 tents each for up to 6 people that we can have for 2 nights at $216.08. I think we can make that work. It is 12 miles above Hunting Island which will work for getting to the meeting point for the kayaking trip. Just need a confirmation on who will go, who will drive, etc. I am projecting a cost of $90 per person ($50 kayaking, $16 two nites of camping, $24 food....4 drivers pay only gas & kayak fee). We will also make a fast-food stop coming back on Sunday for lunch.
Car Wash? - anybody think of a good time to do a car wash....we might could lower the cost on kayak trip .......what do you think??
